Riverside Bed and Breakfast is operated by your host Lyn Walsh. The Riverside was opened by Lyn and her late husband Kieran in 2015, having been in the hospitality industry for many years and having owned some of New Zealand’s finest restaurants. With just four bedrooms and as a family-run business you can be assured of great service and local knowledge throughout your stay.

Start your day with the smell of coffee brewing, and savour our home made marmalade and jams or local honey. Enjoy your continental breakfast in our dining room or on the sunny patio with a great view of our wonderful garden! All the veggies come from our own organic garden. Packed Lunch
Please advise on arrival if you would like us to prepare a packed lunch for you (cost to be advised).
We stayed last nite with Lyn ! Wow what a stunning welcome after our big ride Alps 2 Ocean day five ! The food and accommodation was out standing . . Lyn went beyond the call of duty to look after us all . We were a group of eight, rooms were immaculate, all with en-suites, food was amazing . It felt so relaxing like being at home. Thank you Lyn for all you did and also the wonderful lunch. We will be back !
